Do you send emails for me?: No. Updatebase generates drafts and opens them in your email provider, so you stay in control of when and to whom emails are sent.
Do I need to sync my customer list?: No. Updatebase does not store or sync your customer lists. We focus on helping you write and structure the updates themselves.
Do I have to write perfect commit messages?: No. Clear commit messages help, but you can always add a quick impact note when something needs extra explanation for customers.
What providers will you support first?: We’re starting with MailerLite and ConvertKit. Other email and marketing tools are on the roadmap based on demand.
Is there a public page?: Yes, optionally. You can maintain a simple public updates page per product (for example, updatebase.io/yourproduct) without extra formatting work.

Is this another automation?: No. Updatebase doesn’t trigger automations — it explains what changed and why it matters.
Does Updatebase read my code in Github?: No. Updatebase reads commit messages, pull request titles and descriptions, and other metadata it needs to generate updates — never your source code files.
